11th Annual Faithful Friends 5K Run/Walk & Mutt Mile!

Run with us on September 26th at Bellevue State Park!
You're invited to our 11TH ANNUAL 5K & Mutt Mile In-Person and Virtual Event on Sunday, September 26th at Bellevue State Park. Not only is this our biggest fundraising event of the year, it's also the LARGEST dog-friendly race in Delaware! Bring your whole family (pups included!) to this beautiful and scenic cross-country 5K course timed by Nova Timing Systems. Prefer a more leisurely walk? Sign up for our in-person or virtual Mutt Mile.
Cheer on the racers as they cruise through the finish line then let the festivities begin! Don't forget to visit our adoptable dogs in the meet-n-greet areas! Also there will be food trucks on site for all to enjoy. ALL proceeds from the family-fun event support Faithful Friends' mission, animal shelter and vital community programs! VIRTUAL 5K & MUTT MILE
If you aren't comfortable attending our in-person event or you don't live close enough to participate, you can register for our Virtual 5K Run/Walk and Mutt Mile. Your 5K time and picture of finish time will be submitted online between Sunday, September 19th - Sunday, September 26th, at 10am. Awards will be mailed out or picked up at Faithful Friends.
AWARDS
Join us post-race for the in-person awards ceremony (awards for top dogs and people). Virtual awards will be mailed out or picked up at Faithful Friends.
In-Person and Virtual Awards given to overall male and female winners plus top three racers in 10 year age groups, 13 and under through 70 and over.
FUNDRAISING PRIZES
Fundraising Prizes for Individual fundraisers who raise $250 / $500 / $1,000 and Team Fundraising Prize to the overall highest fundraising team and the largest team.
Individual Fundraiser prizes will be announced soon.
RACE SWAG
Free 5K T-Shirt and Mutt Mile Bandana until September 10th .
All retail sales available until September 10th.

To CREATE or JOIN a team you MUST leave the box marked YES to create a personal fundraiser after you've chosen
your registration type and clicked on who you are registering.
This MUST be done for EACH person you register that wants to join a team and you will need a different email address for each person you are registering that is fundraising and/or joining a team.
Interested in joining or forming a Team?
1. Complete your registration information for the 5K or Mutt Mile. (make sure you leave the box marked YES to create your own fundraiser)
Your Fundraising page MUST be created for the team option to be available.
2. During Step 3 of the registration process, choose the team you want to join, or choose to start your own team.
3. You will be added to that team and given your own fundraising page to track your individual fundraising.
4. If you register additional people, leave their fundraiser box checked to Yes and they will receive an email to edit their details or join/create a team.
*Individual fundraising is not required. All donations raised on your page will go towards the team.

You're all set. A copy of your receipt will be emailed to you.
If you started a NEW team make sure to complete the set up of your team page which is necessary for anyone to be able to join it.
If you registered additional people as fundraisers they will receive an email to complete their details for their fundraising page and can create or join a team if you did not already add them to one.
Pre-Registration packet pick-up is September 25th from 2:00 -5:00 pm at Faithful Friends in the Development Office (Building 10C) or you can pick up at Bellevue State Park on September 26th (the day of the event).
